Yes you can. Only controlled waste such as sanitary waste, clinical waste, and sharps boxes have to be taken to a disposal point such as incineration by a registered waste carrier. Items such as air fresheners, urinal sanitisers, soap, and hand dryers can be installed and maintained by yourself. This offers great potential savings.

Is the price you are paying fair?
It is a fact that washroom servicing prices have become much more competitive over recent years. It is not just a case of playing one company against another, first of all you want a quality service but shop around and many organisations will be pleasantly suprised to find a cheaper price for the same or better level of service.

If you are under an existing contract then first of all check the expiry date and what notice period is required, often three months before the end of the contract. Many contracts will simply roll on if the required notice is not given.
